Diary Log - 16th January

I have finished all of my pre-production work for my opening sequence. This includes my storyboard, script, shot list, location report, risk assessment, shooting schedule and ideas development. I am now starting the production process, filming the shots that I need and creating the opening titles.

Whilst creating my script, I learnt how to use Celtx. It allows you to create professional looking scripts with scene headings, characters, shots, transitions and dialogue.

I learnt how to create suitable and professional scene headings, by stating the location, time of day, and whether the scene is shot in the interior or exterior. I learnt how to layout the script clearly and professionally. For example, the character is written above the dialogue, and the transition is written when there is a change in shot or scene.
